The capacitor is wired into the power that leads to the pump - its a standard Ulka vibe pump. Fearing the worst today I finally plucked up the courage to open the machine to discover that it was a capacitor that had indeed blown up and sprayed black gunk all over the inside of the back cover. ![]() I recently lent it to someone who was having their machine serviced only to get a phone call after a few days saying it had "blown up". So I have a La Cimbali Domus Classic I use as a spare machine or for travel (in the days when i was allowed to leave home). ![]()
